Competition Center

  • The competition center and start-finish area are located in Joaorg - close to the promenade at Narva river. Please check the map for the competition center and running track over here. Competition center will be opened at 9.00.
  • Start materials [your BIB (including a timekeeping chip for timed races), safety pins, Viking Line gift certificate and special offers from our sponsors] are issued at the Secretariat’s tent from 9 AM until the start of the races.
  • NB! As start materials are arranged in a numerical order, make sure you know YOUR START NUMBER.
  • AA bag drop and dressing tents are open in the competition center. These services are free of charge for everyone.
  • Showering facilities are  available in MyFitness Sport Club in Fama Center (Tallinna mnt 19c, 20303 Narva) and in Narva Estonian Gymnasium (Kraavi 1, 20307 Narva).

Start and finish

  • Starts: 21,1 km at 11.00, 7 km at 14.00.
  • Starts will be given at the Narva promenade, close to the Narva river (at the crossroads of  Raja and Linnuse street).
  • BIBs should be pinned to the front of your T-shirt so that your startnumber is clearly visible for all. Participants will get their BIB and safety pins with their start items.
  • Timing device is on the back of your BIB. Do not fold or bend your BIB in any way! In the case of a damaged timing device the results may not be recorded! After the race, the competitor can keep their BIB numbers with the timing device – these do not need to be returned to the organizers.
  • Only entrants with an official race number of 2017 will be permitted to compete in the race.
  • The official time is bruto time (given with a starting gun). Neto time is recorded as well (from startline to finishline) and can be seen from the results.
  • Start groups for 21,1 km
    - I start group: BIB 1-150
    - II start group: BIB 151-300
    - III start group: BIB 301-…
  • Start groups for 7 km
    - I start group: runners with timing (BIB 2000-4000)
    - II start group: runners/walkers without timing (BIB 5001-6500)
  • Finish is located at the Narva promenade close to the Narva river (at the crossroads of  Raja and Linnuse street).

Course

  • The course consists of pavement roads, which are marked. For everyone’s safety, all participants must obey orders given by traffic organizers. Course maps can be seen here.
  • Medical services will be available along the course, at every refreshment station and at the start/finish area.
  • Medical personnel and organizers have the right to remove any participants with signs of injury or excessive strain from the race. In case of emergency call 112.

There will be 6 refreshment stations on the half marathon course (2,8 km, 7,8 km, 10,2 km, 13,2 km, 16,9 km, 20,4 km).

7 km

There will be 2 refreshment stations on the 7 km course (2,8 km ja 6,3 km).

Stations will offer water and sports drinks (Vichy VivaSport).
At the finishline every finisher will get a Vichy Vitamin Water.

Award Ceremony

  • The award ceremonies will take place at 1:00 PM (21,1 km), 2.50 PM (7 km).
  • 3 fastest men and women (21,1 km and 7 km with timing) will be awarded.
  • Different age groups (only 21,1 km 1st place) will get their trophies in the Secretariat’s tent during the competition day.

 

 

Dragon Kid’s Races – free of charge!

  • Dragon kids races will take place on Saturday, 10th of June between 11.30-12.30 on island Joaorg (close to the promenade of Narva river).
  • Registration will take place on the day of the race from 11.00 and it is free of charge.
  • Distance is ca 300m. Children between the ages of 2-12 are welcome to participate.
  • Every kid who finishes the race will receive a chocolate, a diploma, and a gift from Eesti Energia!

Traffic and Parking

  • Organizers recommend parking at parking lots of Fama Shopping Center, Center Kerese or on the streets of Puškin and Linda. Check the map.
  • Parking in Narva City is free of charge.
  • Parking lot for buses is located at the competition center.
  • Do not park on the course!

Transportation

If you do not have a transport, use the special bus to Narva. Read more
