For the first time ever, the marathon course takes the runners through the Tallinn Zoo.

Tallinna Maraton is held traditionally over the second weekend of September as a three-day event. Locations of starts and finishes, as well as the running tracks have undergone significant changes.

The runners take the Rannamäe tee near the Fat Margaret and through the historic Old Town streets they arrive to the Town Hall Square and via Harju street reach the finish at the Freedom Square. 5K We Run Tallinn event gathers more and more participants each year and five thousand runners are expected this year.

On Saturday, 7 September at 17.00, the runners start at the Freedom Square for the ever popular 10K Optibet Sügisjooks that celebrates its twentieth anniversary this year. The start is next to the monument to the War of Independence, the runners then turn to Pärnu maantee via Kaarli puiestee and from the Viru round...
