NARVA CITY RUN – THE LARGEST SPORTING EVENT IN IDA-VIRUMAA
The Narva City Run will take place on June 9–10, 2023, continuing the ten-year tradition of the Narva Energy Run.
The goal of the Narva City Run is to encourage people to actively spend their leisure time and to increase the visibility of Ida-Virumaa in the Estonian cultural and sports landscape.
2023 has been declared the year of movement in Estonia. In Ida-Virumaa we will celebrate it with the Narva City Run, to be attended by 5,000 people.
The picturesque route of the most popular sporting event in Ida-Virumaa, which runs through a city of colourful history, will attract many participants not only from Narva and Ida-Virumaa, but also from all over Estonia and even from other countries.
The program of the Narva City Run will open on Friday, June 9, with a three-kilometre Welcome run along the river promenade, which will end on the renovated Town Hall Square. On Saturday, June 10, the program includes a 21.1-kilometre half-marathon, which will be attended by the best runners in Estonia, as well as a five-kilometre distance that everyone can cover by running or walking.
On both days, a grand cultural program with the participation of local bands and performers known throughout Estonia will be waiting next to the Narva Town Hall.
