Juri Kovaljov and Evelin Talts win the Narva City Run

Narva City Run, which took place today, was won by Juri Kovaljov and Evelin Talts. Over two thousand participants took part in the diverse program of the largest public sporting event in Ida-Virumaa.
Juri Kovaljov from the Tallinn Sports Academy won the 21.1-kilometer half-marathon of the Ida-Virumaa’s most popular movement event, which was held for the second time under the name Narva City Run, with a time of 1 hour, 8 minutes, and 57 seconds. Bert Tippi from the CFC Sports Club claimed second place with a time of 1:12.53. Allan Männi from the Kuusalu Sports Club secured third place (1:14.35), narrowly beating Franko Reinhold (1:14.42).
Among the women, the top three finishers in the longest distance of the Narva City Run were all from the Sparta Sports Society. Evelin Talts won the half-marathon with a time of 1:27.06. Kertu Kula came in second with a time of 1:27.44, and Anni Kingsepp took third place (1:29.44).
On the five-kilometer course, the fastest man was Deniss Šalkauskas (winning time 16.59), and the fastest woman was Jekaterina Mirotvortseva (19.35).
Over 800 young running enthusiasts participated in the Limpa children's race, which took place on Joaoru Island. The sporting day continued with a lively cultural and concert program as part of Narva City Days.
Ida-Virumaa’s largest public sporting event attracted over two thousand participants in various formats. A total of 494 runners completed the half-marathon, while 1,024 participants finished the five-kilometer distance. More than two thousand people took part in the festive opening parade on Friday evening, and 847 young runners participated in the Limpa children's race.
The Narva City Run was the third stage of Estonia's largest movement series, RIMI City Runs.
