10 km Distance – run, walk, or Nordic Walk? Everyone’s welcome!

25.06.2025

Taking part in the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon 10 km doesn’t mean you have to run. Quite the opposite – every participant is free to choose their own pace:

• Run, if you want to challenge yourself

• Walk or use Nordic walking poles, if you’d rather enjoy the movement and the vibrant city atmosphere

Our goal is to make the joy of movement accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. That’s why everyone who completes the 10 km – whether running, walking, or Nordic walking, timed or untimed – will receive the same finisher’s medal, participant benefits, and unforgettable experience.

Timed or Untimed – what’s the difference?

When registering for the 10 km distance, you can choose between two participation options:

Timed entry

• Your race bib includes a timing chip that tracks your official time from start to finish

• Your result is added to the official finish protocol and can be compared with your previous runs via the self-service portal at jooks.ee

• Perfect for those looking to test their limits or track their progress

Untimed entry

• Your time is not tracked by organizers

• You can record your time using your own sports watch or running app

• Ideal for those who prefer a relaxed pace or simply want to enjoy the event at their own rhythm

Choose what works for you!

The 10 km distance is a celebration of movement – where every step counts. Whether your goal is a personal best, an active weekend, or a joyful walk with friends, this course is open to everyone.

Register now and select the 10 km option that suits you best – timed or untimed.
