The registration for Tallinn Marathon is open!

The exact timeline and race courses of the Tallinn Marathon will be confirmed once it is clear if and under what conditions the major event can be held in September. Making the final decision depends on the potential health risks associated with the coronavirus and the rules imposed on public events. In the case the Tallinn Marathon nevertheless cannot take place this year as usual, you can transfer your entry to the virtual run or request a refund of the entry fee.

In parallel with the regular major event, the virtual run of the Tallinn Marathon will take place from 1 to 30 September where you can participate on your freely chosen distance at a convenient time in any corner of the world. This time, too, Estonia’s biggest virtual sports event includes the combined marathon, or the ‘marathon combo’, which proved extremely popular last year and is doable for any running enthusiast and amateur sportsperson. The full length of the marathon distance must be completed during September either running or walking in parts until reaching the required number of kilometres. 11,924 running enthusiasts from 53 countries registered for the virtual run of the Tallinn Marathon that was held for the first time in 2020.

The Sügisjooks 10 km races annually held since 2000 and the Tallinn Marathons consistently organised since 2010 by Sport Event Team have up till now set a quarter of a million amateur sportspeople in motion. The entry record of the international sports event with the highest number of entrants in Estonia’s history was set in the Republic of Estonia’s jubilee year of 2018 with a total of 23,940 runners and amateur sportspeople from 67 countries participating in the distances of the Tallinn Marathon and Sügisjooks.
