Swedbank Tallinn Marathon features fast, single-lap race courses
With just three months to go until the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon, all race distances—42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 km, and the relay marathon—will feature single-lap, fast-paced courses. The start and finish are set at Falgi tee, at the foot of the iconic Pikk Hermann tower. The event takes place from September 12–14, Estonia’s largest international running weekend.
The race village and expo sit in the heart of Tallinn, at Freedom Square, which also hosts the post-race award ceremonies.
Welcome Run – September 12, 18:30:
Runners and walkers of all levels can take part in a non-timed, symbolic 2.6 km lap around Kadriorg Park, and you’re welcome to do it more than once.
The main event hub, for marathoners, half-marathoners, 10 km runners, and relay teams, is based on Falgi tee by Toompea, offering a backdrop of the historic Pikk Hermann tower. Each morning, Estonia’s blue-black-white flag is raised in a sunrise ritual, and lowered with the sunset.
