This year, Tallinn has earned an honorable title – European Capital of Sport! At the heart of this grand sports year are movement and a healthy lifestyle, and in May, running takes center stage. What better way to celebrate the city's sporting status and the arrival of spring than by participating in the region's largest women’s movement event, LHV Women’s Run – an event that invites women of all ages and fitness levels to hit the track. Here’s an overview of all the ways you can take part in Women’s Run:
7 km Course at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds – May 17
The classic LHV Women’s Run takes you on a 7 km route on May 17, winding through the beautiful surroundings of Tallinn Song Festival Grounds and the lush greenery of Pirita. This is the perfect opportunity to run or walk at your own pace, enjoying the spring greenery and the positive atmosphere along the way.
Virtual Women’s Run Combo 21 km
If you prefer flexibility or want to complete the course in various locations, choose the Women’s Run Combo. From May 1–17, you have the chance to cover a 21 km distance at your own pace, in your chosen location, and in suitable segments. Find your favorite routes, enjoy the fresh air, and embrace the joy of movement. It’s the perfect way to welcome spring!
Limpa Kid’s Race – Fun Runs for the Little Ones
Women’s Run isn’t just for adults – the Limpa Kid’s Races brings even the youngest movement enthusiasts to the track! On May 17, children up to 12 years old can enjoy the lively atmosphere of a fun running course at Tallinn Song Festival Grounds. It’s a day filled with smiles and unforgettable moments for the little ones. Participation is completely free, but pre-registration is required.
Virtual Kid’s Race – A Popular Choice for Kindergartens
Additionally, the Virtual Kid’s Race has become especially popular among kindergartens. It’s a fantastic way to inspire kids to move in their daily environment. Whether in the kindergarten yard or on local trails, virtual participation allows kids to move wherever it’s most convenient.
