Tallinn Day & Swedbank Tallinn Marathon: Every Step for Our City
May 15 marks Tallinn Day—a time to reflect on our city's origins and celebrate our shared identity. On this day in 1248, Tallinn was granted Lübeck city rights, officially joining the European network of cities.
The Swedbank Tallinn Marathon has become an integral part of the city's vibrant sports culture, bringing life to the streets with every participant's stride. The marathon route showcases Tallinn's beauty and diversity, winding through the edges of the Old Town, along the seaside, and past numerous historical landmarks.
In 2025, as Tallinn holds the title of European Capital of Sport, it's the perfect year to participate in Estonia's largest international running event and honor our city.
Whether your goal is to complete 5 km, 10 km, a half marathon, full marathon, or the relay marathon, the Swedbank Tallinn Marathon offers a place for every running enthusiast.
See you on the streets of Tallinn, September 12–14!
